1. Do I need to perform any regular maintenance on my WAVE Pro Elite? What materials or solutions should I use to clean my WAVE Pro Elite?

There is no need to perform any regular maintenance on the WAVE Pro Elite. It is only recommended to clean the surface of the machine for sanitary purposes after each use. We recommend the use of a soft polyester wash cloth with an antibacterial soap and water solution to clean and preserve the integrity of the touch screen, handle bars and exercise surface.

2. Where do I find the model and serial number of my WAVE Pro Elite? Where do I find my warranty details and can it be extended?

The serial number of your WAVE Pro Elite is located at the base of the column on the back cover next to the power switch. An extended warranty can be purchased, for assistance with warranty information please contact our customer support representatives.

3. I am having a problem with my WAVE Pro Elite, how do I obtain technical information and warranty service?

For assistance in troubleshooting your WAVE Pro Elite, please contact our customer support representatives. If troubleshooting your machine does not resolve the problem, the necessary arrangements for technical service can be made.

4. Where can I purchase hardware components for my WAVE Pro Elite for independent service? Where can I find a service manual?

For spare components of the WAVE Pro Elite and all other WAVE models we recommend you contact our customer support representatives and purchase direct from manufacturing for quality assurance. For an electronic copy of the WAVE Pro Elite or any WAVE model service manual, please contact our customer support representatives by email with the serial number of your machine in the subject heading.

5. How can I return my WAVE Pro Elite and what is your return policy?

The WAVE Pro Elite may be returned within 15 days of the purchase date and at the discretion of your WAVE customer support representative provided proof of good working condition. With approval for return, the purchaser is subject to a 15% M.S.R.P. re-stocking fee and the return shipping fee.

6. Where can I find a user and training manual for my WAVE Pro Elite?

A user and training manual were included within the original packaging of your WAVE Pro Elite. For a replacement electronic copy of the manuals please contact our customer support representatives by email with the serial number of your machine in the subject heading.

7. Where can I purchase accessories to the WAVE Pro Elite?

All accessories for the WAVE Pro Elite can be purchased at WAVExercise.com or through a customer support representative.

8. Can I purchase in-home or on-site training for my WAVE Pro Elite?

Experienced trainers are available for on-site training. Training consists of a time period of 8 hours to cover physiological aspects of vibration exercise and practical application. The purchaser is subject to the cost of travel, training and accommodations of the trainer and will receive a certificate of completion.

9. Can I purchase any WAVE marketing material?

If you are opening a small vibration studio or simply integrating a WAVE Pro Elite into a fitness or rehabilitation setting, WAVE Manufacturing can fully support your needs with brochures, posters and a variety of other materials. 10. Where can I try the WAVE Pro Elite before I buy it?

You can try the WAVE Pro Elite at either one of the WAVE Exercise & Nutrition centers located in the cities of Vaughan and Windsor in south western Ontario, Canada. There may be a designated demonstration center in your area, contact one of our customer support representatives for a location near you.

11. Do you offer financing options for the WAVE Pro Elite?

12. How long will it take for me to get my machine once I have decided to buy?

Shipping from the date of purchase is approximately 2 weeks or 8 to 10 business days depending on the destination.

13. Do I have to assemble the WAVE Pro Elite and what is involved?

There is no assembly required with the WAVE Pro Elite. The WAVE Pro Elite will arrive fully assembled and ready to use. All that is required is to unfold the handle and lock it in place.

14. Where should the WAVE Pro Elite be installed?

There are two important considerations during the installation of your new machine. The WAVE Pro Elite should be on a level surface to ensure proper operation and it should be stored indoors, preferably in a room temperature environment and on carpet. It is not recommended to be installed within a garage or damp basement due to the sensitive nature of electronic components.

15. Can the WAVE Pro Elite be plugged into a standard home outlet?

The WAVE Pro Elite operates from a standard 120 V household plug.

16. How much space does the WAVE Pro Elite require?

The WAVE Pro Elite requires 3’ x 5’ feet of space for installation with a clear floor on all three sides of the exercise platform for optimal use and varied exercise positioning.

17. How much noise does the WAVE Pro Elite make?

Isolated vibration housing and advanced engineering contains the vibration within the exercise platform preventing dispersal to the controls and floor. As a result, there is also very little noise from the machine.

18. Is the WAVE Pro Elite safe to use and are there any contraindications?

Vibration exercise is safe for a variety of populations from young athletes to older adults. Prior to starting a new exercise program it is always recommended to seek the approved consent of a medical examiner.
Vibration exercise includes the following contraindications:

19. Who is vibration exercise good for?

Vibration exercise has become widely popularized in the fitness and sports performance industry as well as hospitals, small private rehabilitation clinics, weight loss clinics, assisted living homes, corporate settings and even home gyms.

20. Does vibration exercise substitute for cardiovascular exercise?

The WAVE Pro Elite has been designed to be gentle on the cardiovascular system and thus can be used by people who can't stress their cardiovascular system. A cardio effect can be achieved by increasing the intensity of the exercise, decreasing the rest time or adding extra weight.

21. Does vibration exercise substitute for weight training and how does it compare to conventional exercise?

Vibration exercise recruits more muscle fibers than conventional exercise due to its ability to influence the stretch reflex. Since this is an involuntary reflex, a large percentage of the muscle fibers can be recruited - both fast and slow twitch muscle groups leading to changes in strength and muscle size.

22. How often should I exercise on my WAVE Pro Elite?

It is recommended that users initially spend 15 minutes approximately every other day. However, this largely depends on the user fitness level and experience. A higher frequency of exercise and duration in time is not uncommon for experienced users.

23. How do users know how to perform the right movements?

The WAVE Pro Elite features a dynamic virtual trainer to illustrate the proper exercise postures as they relate to preset programs for beginner, intermediate and advanced level individuals. Additionally, if you have limited experience with vibration exercise, the WAVE Training Manual has been designed specifically to coach individuals into proper exercise positions, progressions, and programs.
